Hello and welcome to our website. We are a relatively new group having been formed only in 2002. However we would like to think that our enthusiasm is infectious, so why don't you have a browse through this
site or even better come along and pay us a visit on one of our Club nights!
We have access to
Glasgow University's 16" Meade
telescope
mostly twice per month. One of these meetings is held jointly with the
Astronomical
Society of Glasgow. This a new telescope which has been installed recently. Details of
where we hold our meetings can be obtained from the
Chairman by email or by clickng
here.
If you are interested in joining then please have a look at
Membership details. If you just want to come along and see what it is all about
then you can attend your first meeting free and join thereafter.
Please use the
Menu
on the left to navigate this site. To find out our current programme please go to
This Year. I hope you find the
links
useful and will return here.
On 18 January 2006 the Society attained Charity status in Scotland; the Society is so registered under
No. SC037113.
